## About Me

Dr. Gallagher is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease. She strives to be a source of comfort and strength for her patients through every stage of their care—celebrating the victories alongside them and providing support through the more difficult moments. She believes in taking the time to ensure that each patient feels heard, informed, and confident in their care. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, she develops treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual diagnosis, needs, and goals.

A native of the Midwest, Dr. Gallagher completed both her undergraduate and medical school education in Wisconsin. She then moved to New York City for her general surgery residency at Metropolitan Hospital, where she trained in a diverse and rigorous clinical environment and gained experience at leading cancer institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her experiences caring for patients with cancer during residency further shaped her interest in breast surgical oncology and her commitment to caring for patients throughout their cancer journey.

Dr. Gallagher went on to complete fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she received specialized training in the comprehensive management of breast cancer and benign breast disease. She is excited to call Texas home and looks forward to caring for and becoming a part of the North Texas community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Gallagher is an avid animal lover, with a horse and cat of her own. She enjoys staying active, traveling, exploring new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
