## About Me

Sydney Oesch, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and other gynecologic cancers. Her practice includes both surgical and medical treatment, with particular interests in minimally invasive and complex gynecologic cancer surgery, targeted therapies, and individualized treatment planning.

A Dallas native, Dr. Oesch is proud to return home to North Texas to care for women in the community where she was raised. She earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Health. She then completed fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Oesch has been recognized for excellence in surgery, research, and medical education. She received the Farr Nezhat Surgical Film Award from the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and has presented her clinical research at national meetings. She has also been honored for her commitment to teaching, receiving the Golden Apple Excellence in Teaching Award and the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Oesch is also a creator and co-host of Ready, Set, GYO, a comprehensive educational podcast curriculum designed for gynecologic oncology fellows and other learners.

At the center of Dr. Oesch’s practice is a commitment to ensuring that patients feel informed, supported, and actively involved in their care. She believes cancer treatment should be both evidence-based and deeply personal and values taking the time to explain each diagnosis, discuss available treatment options, and develop a plan that reflects each patient’s individual needs and priorities.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Oesch enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dogs, traveling, trying new restaurants, listening to live music, and staying active.
