Christy graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas – Arlington, Arlington, Texas, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas – Arlington. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the Baylor Women’s Golf Team while at Baylor.
Her specific oncology professional experience includes positions as the Oncology Program Coordinator at Baylor All Saints; Oncology/Medical Surgical Staff Nurse at Texas Health Resources; and Hospice Case Manager for Community Hospice of Texas. She was the family nurse practitioner for a Fort Worth ENT practice for seven years.
Christy lives in Granbury, Texas with her husband Keith (Fort Worth Fire Department Captain), their daughter Olivia, one dog, one cat, and two rabbits. Christy enjoys outdoor camping, water sports, golfing, snow skiing, and traveling to Disney World whenever possible!
