Shelly Hampton, MSN, RN, FNP-C
“Oncology is an evolving and diverse field. I am fascinated by the advances being made in the fight against cancer and I am so excited and proud to join in the fight as a nurse practitioner with The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.”
Shelly graduated from Tarleton University in Stephenville, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at San Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nurses Association.
She has been administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy for the past 6 years at Texas Health Southwest. She previously had worked in the intensive care unit at Texas Health Southwest.
Shelly lives in Aledo, Texas with her husband and children. She enjoys swimming, biking, jogging, and traveling. She is active in her faith and enjoys helping others through volunteering.
