Nutritional Counseling
About This Service
Good nutrition is an important part of cancer care. Our registered and licensed dietitians help patients manage nutrition concerns before, during, and after treatment. They work with you to address side effects that may make eating difficult, support your strength and energy, and help prevent treatment delays related to poor nutrition. Dietitians also provide guidance for patients who need additional support, including supplemental nutrition, tube feeding education, or strategies for maintaining weight and muscle mass.
Nutritional counseling is available for patients in active treatment as well as those in survivorship. After treatment ends, making healthy nutrition choices can support recovery, rebuild strength, and reduce the risk of recurrence. Your dietitian will create a personalized plan that fits your needs, preferences, and overall care goals.
Patients That May Benefit
Our supportive services nurture the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, helping patients undergoing treatment manage side effects, find comfort, and promote well-being through every stage of care.
