Dr. Amelia A. Gunter earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University, and completed her surgical residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. She is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Dr. Gunter knew she wanted to become a breast surgeon after her mother’s experience with breast cancer. She performs all aspects of breast surgery for cancers in the breast. During her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, listening to music, and ballroom dancing with her husband, David.
