Helena Iannaccone, RN, MSN, ANP-C

Ms. Helena Iannaccone brings 40 years of nursing experience to her patients. The first several years of her nursing career were spent as an ICU nurse in New York, but Helena found her true calling after moving to Texas when she became the nurse manager over the oncology unit at a local north Texas hospital. Since then, for the past 28 years, she has devoted her skill, expertise, and continued education to the field of oncology. Helena is a certified advanced oncology nurse practitioner and actively serves as a sub-investigator for numerous clinical trials at The Center.

Helena earned her diploma in nursing at Queens Hospital Center School of Nursing in Jamaica, New York. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Science of Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Today, Helena is an adjunct clinical instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing-Graduate School-NP Program and gives several different scientific presentations and CEU lectures for nurses. She is an active member of the Oncology Nurses Society, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Association, Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, American College of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
