Treatments Immunotherapy

Offered at 22 Locations

Immunotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that helps your body’s own immune system recognize and attack cancer cells more effectively. These therapies work in different ways; some boost the immune system’s overall response, while others target signals that cancer cells use to hide. Immunotherapy may be used alone or combined with other treatments, and it is sometimes recommended when testing shows certain biomarkers that can help guide which therapy is best for you.Immunotherapy is typically given through an infusion in an outpatient setting, where oncology-trained nurses closely monitor your response. Because each patient’s immune system is unique, our care team will tailor the type of immunotherapy you receive and work with you to manage any side effects that may occur.

Treatments Infusion Therapy

Offered at 1 Location

Infusion therapy delivers medications directly into the body through an IV, port, catheter, or by intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SQ) injection. This method allows treatments to work quickly and effectively, especially when medicines cannot be taken by mouth or need to be given at a controlled rate. Infusion therapy may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, blood products, injections, or supportive medications, depending on each patient’s diagnosis and treatment plan.Infusion care is provided in a comfortable outpatient setting, where oncology-trained nurses monitor your treatment closely. Many of our infusion nurses hold OCN® or biotherapy certifications, offering advanced expertise and an added level of safety throughout the infusion process. Our team coordinates closely with referring providers to ensure each patient’s infusion plan is personalized and aligns seamlessly with their overall care.

Treatments Interventional Radiology

Offered at 20 Locations

Interventional radiology is a medical specialty that uses imaging such as ultrasound, CT scans, or X-rays to guide minimally invasive procedures. These procedures use small instruments like needles or catheters to diagnose or treat conditions without the need for large incisions. In cancer care, interventional radiology can help diagnose tumors, deliver treatment directly to cancer cells, relieve symptoms, or support other parts of a patient’s treatment plan. Because these procedures are less invasive than traditional surgery, they often involve shorter recovery times, less discomfort, and fewer complications.Your care team will explain which interventional radiology procedures may be helpful for your diagnosis and treatment goals. Most procedures are done on an outpatient basis, and you will be monitored closely before, during, and after your procedure to ensure your comfort and safety.

Treatments Lymph Node Dissection

Lymph node dissection is a surgical procedure used to remove lymph nodes, so they can be examined for cancer or to treat cancer that has spread to the lymphatic system. This procedure helps determine the stage of the disease, guides treatment planning, and may reduce the risk of cancer returning in nearby areas. Lymph node dissection may be performed at the same time as tumor removal or as a separate procedure, depending on the location of the cancer and each patient’s overall care plan.Your surgical and oncology teams will evaluate which lymph nodes should be removed and will work together to ensure a safe procedure, thorough evaluation, and coordinated follow-up care based on your results.

Services Medical Oncology

Offered at 21 Locations

Medical oncology focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer using medications that work throughout the body. Medical oncologists use a wide range of therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, and other systemic treatments. They coordinate closely with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and many other specialists to ensure each patient receives well-rounded, personalized care.Patients may be referred to a medical oncologist after a concerning test result, a biopsy, or a diagnosis made by another specialist. Because every patient and every cancer is different, medical oncologists develop individualized treatment plans based on the type of cancer, its stage, and each patient’s overall health and goals. Throughout treatment, they monitor progress, adjust therapies as needed, and support patients through symptoms, side effects, and the emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

Services Nutritional Counseling

Offered at 6 Locations

Good nutrition is an important part of cancer care. Our registered and licensed dietitians help patients manage nutrition concerns before, during, and after treatment. They work with you to address side effects that may make eating difficult, support your strength and energy, and help prevent treatment delays related to poor nutrition. Dietitians also provide guidance for patients who need additional support, including supplemental nutrition, tube feeding education, or strategies for maintaining weight and muscle mass.Nutritional counseling is available for patients in active treatment as well as those in survivorship. After treatment ends, making healthy nutrition choices can support recovery, rebuild strength, and reduce the risk of recurrence. Your dietitian will create a personalized plan that fits your needs, preferences, and overall care goals.

Services Pain and Symptom Management

Offered at 22 Locations

Pain and symptom management therapies are designed to help patients feel more comfortable and supported during cancer treatment. These services may include medications, supportive therapies, counseling, or minimally invasive procedures that target the source of discomfort. The goal is to reduce pain, improve daily functioning, and help patients maintain the best possible quality of life throughout their care.Depending on each patient’s needs, pain and symptom management may involve image-guided injections, nerve blocks, or other interventional procedures, as well as treatment for symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, appetite changes, neuropathy, shortness of breath, or anxiety. Some patients may also benefit from palliative care; a supportive approach focused on relieving symptoms and improving overall wellbeing at any stage of cancer. Your care team will work with you to understand what you are experiencing, identify the underlying cause, and recommend the most appropriate approach. Most treatments take place in an outpatient setting, with careful monitoring before, during, and after each visit.

Services Palliative Care

It is appropriate at any age and at any stage of illness and can be provided alongside curative or life-prolonging treatments. Services Pathology & Lab Services

Offered at 10 Locations

Pathology and laboratory services play a vital role in diagnosing cancer and guiding treatment decisions. Pathologists are physicians who examine blood, tissue, and other samples to identify abnormalities, determine whether cancer is present, and understand how aggressive it may be. Laboratory testing provides important information about blood counts, organ function, tumor markers, and genetic changes within cancer cells. These results help your care team confirm a diagnosis, plan treatment, monitor progress, and adjust therapies as needed. Most laboratory tests are completed quickly using advanced technology, and results are shared directly with your oncology team. Pathologists work closely with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure every patient receives an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan.
